This four-week group class focuses on the fundamentals of training, with an emphasis on how to communicate effectively with your dog, build duration into commands, and increase your dog’s confidence in public. In these four sessions, your dog will learn skills such as heel, place, sit, down, recall and leave it. In class, we will first teach the skill, then work on building duration and distraction. Each week, participants will go home with a packet of written materials to help you practice with your dogs outside of class time.
Please fill out the form below to reserve your spot in our first group class. This offering is for current Woofwalks clients only (although we may make an exception for friends of current clients, so please email us directly for approval). The fee for this class will be added to your next Woofwalks invoice.

About The Trainer:
McClain’s training practice grew from a long history of fostering and working with non-profit organizations like Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, where she was the Foster Coordinator. McClain is certified in Canine Training and a Behavior Specialist. She works with dogs of all temperaments, and provides a wide spectrum of training services, from puppy basics to reducing leash reactivity and separation anxiety. Her ongoing education includes seminars with Micheal Ellis, Blake Rodriguez and Tyler Muto. She lives in the Santa Fe area of Oakland, with her dog
